Etymology
The name Botswana comes from the Tswana people, the largest ethnic group in the country. The term "Tswana" means "those who go far away" and the prefix "Bo" refers to the country.
Geography
Botswana is bordered by South Africa to the south and southeast, Namibia to the west and north, and Zimbabwe to the northeast. It meets Zambia at a single point.
Health in Botswana
Botswana has made great strides in healthcare development since its independence in 1966. The country has a universal healthcare system, and all residents have access to free healthcare services at government health facilities.
Diseases
