A clinostat is a scientific instrument used to study the effects of gravity on plants and other organisms. It consists of a rotating platform that continuously rotates at a slow and constant speed, effectively canceling out the influence of gravity on the objects placed on it. History
The concept of the clinostat was first introduced by the German botanist Julius von Sachs in the late 19th century. Operation
