Conjoint

Conjoint (/kənˈdʒɔɪnt/, from Latin con meaning "together" and iungere meaning "to join") is a term used in various fields of medicine to describe structures that are joined or associated with each other.

Anatomy

In anatomy, the term conjoint is used to describe muscles, nerves, or other structures that are closely associated or fused together. For example, the Conjoint tendon, which is formed by the union of the inguinal ligament and the fascia transversalis.
