Crush's Coaster is a spinning roller coaster located at Walt Disney Studios Park in Disneyland Paris. The ride is themed around the character Crush from the Disney/Pixar film Finding Nemo. It is part of the Toon Studio section of the park.
History
Crush's Coaster opened on June 9, 2007, as part of the expansion of Walt Disney Studios Park. The ride was designed by Walt Disney Imagineering in collaboration with Mack Rides, a German company known for manufacturing amusement rides.
Ride Experience
The ride begins with a slow-moving dark ride section that takes guests through scenes from Finding Nemo. After the initial dark ride portion, the coaster transitions into a spinning roller coaster, simulating the experience of riding the East Australian Current with Crush and his friends. The ride features both indoor and outdoor sections, with the majority of the track being enclosed.
Theming
The queue area and ride are heavily themed to immerse guests in the underwater world of Finding Nemo. The queue features various interactive elements and detailed decorations that depict scenes from the movie. The ride vehicles are designed to resemble turtle shells, adding to the overall theme.
