DePaul University
DePaul University is a private, Roman Catholic university located in Chicago, Illinois, United States. Founded by the Vincentians in 1898, it is the largest Catholic university in the United States by enrollment.
History
DePaul University was founded in 1898 by the Congregation of the Mission (C.M.), also known as the Vincentians, a Roman Catholic religious order. The university was named after Saint Vincent de Paul, the 17th-century French priest who dedicated his life to serving the poor.

DePaul University offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs across its ten colleges and schools. These include the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, the College of Science and Health, the Driehaus College of Business, and the College of Computing and Digital Media.

Campus
DePaul University has two main campuses in the Chicago area: the Lincoln Park Campus and the Loop Campus. The Loop Campus is located in downtown Chicago and houses the College of Law, the School of Public Service, and the School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
Student Life
DePaul University offers a vibrant student life with over 350 student organizations, including academic clubs, cultural groups, and service organizations. The university's athletic teams, known as the Blue Demons, compete in the NCAA Division I and are members of the Big East Conference.
