Double Cola

Double Cola is a brand of soft drink that was first created and distributed in the United States. The brand represents a variety of carbonated beverages that have been popular since the early 20th century.

History

Double Cola was first formulated in 1933 by former Pepsi employee Charles D. Little. Little, along with partner Joe S. Foster, established the Good Grape Company in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The company later changed its name to the Double Cola Company in 1953.

Product

The original Double Cola product is a sweet, carbonated soft drink with a cola flavor. It is similar to other cola beverages, but has a unique taste that sets it apart. The formula for Double Cola is a closely guarded secret, but it is known to contain carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup, caramel color, phosphoric acid, natural flavors, and caffeine.

Brand Expansion

Over the years, the Double Cola Company has expanded its product line to include other flavors and types of beverages. These include SKI, a citrus soda, and Jumbo, a line of flavored soft drinks. The company also produces a variety of diet drinks and specialty products.

Distribution

Double Cola products are distributed throughout the United States and in several international markets. The company's products are particularly popular in the South, where the brand has a strong historical presence.
