Earl Bradley

Earl Bradley (pronounced: /ɜːrl ˈbrædli/) is a former pediatrician who was convicted of multiple counts of sexual abuse of his patients in Delaware, United States.

Etymology

The name 'Earl' is of English origin and means 'nobleman' or 'warrior'. 'Bradley' is also of English origin and is derived from a place name meaning 'broad wood' or 'broad meadow' in Old English.

Biography

Earl Bradley was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He received his medical degree from the Temple University School of Medicine and completed his residency in pediatrics at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, both in Philadelphia.

In 1994, Bradley opened a pediatric practice in Lewes, Delaware, where he was well-known and respected in the community. However, in 2009, he was arrested and charged with multiple counts of sexual abuse of his patients. The following year, he was convicted and sentenced to 14 life sentences without parole.
