Fairview Village, Pennsylvania

Fairview Village, Pennsylvania is a census-designated place (CDP) located in Worcester Township, in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. It is part of the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area, and is situated approximately 28 miles northwest of the city of Philadelphia.

. According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.9 square miles, all of it land.

Demographics

As of the 2010 census, there were 6,170 people residing in the CDP. The racial makeup of the CDP was 91.2% White, 2.8% African American, 0.1% Native American, 4.5% Asian, 0.1% Pacific Islander, 0.6% from other races, and 0.7% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.1% of the population.

Education

Fairview Village is served by the Methacton School District, which operates four elementary schools, one middle school, and Methacton High School.

Transportation

The main roads in Fairview Village are Pennsylvania Route 363 (Valley Forge Road) and Pennsylvania Route 73 (Skippack Pike).

  • John Salmons, former professional basketball player, was born in Fairview Village.
