Flexible (medicine)

Flexible (pronounced: /ˈflɛksɪbəl/) is a term often used in the field of medicine to describe the ability of a structure or material to bend without breaking or permanently deforming. It is derived from the Latin word flexibilis, which means "capable of being bent".
