Games of Pixar Pier

The Games of Pixar Pier are a series of carnival-style games located at Pixar Pier, part of Disney California Adventure Park at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. These games were rethemed and introduced on June 23, 2018, as part of the larger transformation of the area from its previous identity, Paradise Pier, to Pixar Pier, which celebrates the characters and stories from Pixar Animation Studios' films.
Overview
The Games of Pixar Pier consist of four main game attractions, each themed after a different Pixar film. These games are designed to provide guests with interactive entertainment while also immersing them in the worlds of their favorite Pixar movies. The games include:
La Luna Star Catcher
Themed after the Pixar short film La Luna, this game allows players to use a magnetic fishing rod to catch star-shaped objects from a moving water surface, mimicking the short's storyline where a young boy reaches for the stars.
Heimlich's Candy Corn Toss
Based on the character Heimlich from A Bug's Life, this game involves tossing oversized candy corn pieces into the mouth of a large Heimlich model. The game captures the humorous essence of Heimlich's insatiable appetite.
WALL-E Space Race
Inspired by the film WALL-E, players use water guns to propel rockets up a tower to help WALL-E and EVE reach space. The design and mechanics of the game reflect the space and environmental themes of the movie.
Bullseye Stallion Stampede
This game is themed around Bullseye, the lovable horse from Toy Story. Players roll balls into holes to make their Bullseye figurine race against others, simulating a horse race.
Reception
The Games of Pixar Pier have been well-received for their engaging, family-friendly activities and for enhancing the Pixar-themed atmosphere of the pier. They offer a playful and interactive way for guests to connect with the stories and characters of Pixar films while enjoying the park.
