Gevalia is a coffee brand that originated in Sweden. It is owned by the Kraft Heinz company and is known for selling a variety of coffee products, including ground coffee, whole bean coffee, and single-serve coffee pods.

History

Gevalia was founded in Gävle, Sweden in 1853 by Victor Theodor Engwall. The company was originally a trading business, importing a variety of goods including coffee. Over time, Gevalia became known for its high-quality coffee and began focusing solely on this product. In 1971, the company was acquired by Kraft Foods, which later became Kraft Heinz.

Products

Gevalia offers a wide range of coffee products. These include traditional ground coffee, which is available in a variety of roasts and flavors. The company also sells whole bean coffee for customers who prefer to grind their own beans. In addition, Gevalia offers single-serve coffee pods that are compatible with most Keurig coffee makers.

Gevalia is also known for its specialty coffee products. These include flavored coffees, such as vanilla and hazelnut, as well as limited edition seasonal flavors. The company also sells a line of espresso products, including espresso pods and ground espresso coffee.

Distribution

Gevalia products are sold in grocery stores and online. The company also operates a mail-order service, which allows customers to subscribe to regular deliveries of their favorite Gevalia products.
