Kevin Warwick (born 9 February 1954) is a British engineer and professor of cybernetics at the University of Reading, United Kingdom. He is known for his research in the field of artificial intelligence, robotics, and biomedical engineering. Warwick is often referred to as "Captain Cyborg" due to his pioneering work in cyborg technology.

Early Life and Education

Kevin Warwick was born in Coventry, England. He attended Lawrence Sheriff School in Rugby, Warwickshire. Warwick went on to study at Aston University in Birmingham, where he received his first degree in electrical engineering. He later completed his PhD at Imperial College London.

Career

Warwick began his academic career at the University of Reading, where he became a professor of cybernetics. His research interests include robotics, artificial intelligence, and biomedical engineering. Warwick has published numerous papers and books on these subjects.
