Kindness
Kindness (/ˈkaɪndnəs/) is a type of behavior marked by acts of generosity, consideration, or concern for others, without expecting praise or reward.
Etymology
The term "kindness" comes from the Old English kyndnes meaning "nation" or "produce, increase". The word is further derived from the Middle English kindenes meaning "noble deeds" or "courtesy". The modern English word has been in use since the late 14th century.
