Geography
The Latricières-Chambertin vineyard covers an area of approximately 7.28 hectares (18 acres). It is located on the upper slopes of the Côte de Nuits, at an elevation ranging from 280 to 350 meters (920 to 1,150 feet) above sea level. The vineyard faces east, benefiting from optimal exposure to sunlight.
Climate and Soil
The climate in Latricières-Chambertin is classified as continental, characterized by warm summers and cold winters. The vineyard is protected from harsh winds by the surrounding forests, creating a microclimate that is favorable for grape cultivation.
The soil in Latricières-Chambertin is predominantly composed of limestone and clay. This unique combination of soil types contributes to the complexity and minerality found in the wines produced from this vineyard.
Wine Production
