Mojisola Adeyeye

Mojisola Adeyeye is a renowned pharmacologist and the current Director-General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) in Nigeria. Early Life and Education

Mojisola Adeyeye was born in Nigeria. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She then pursued her Master's degree in Pharmaceutics from the University of Georgia, Athens, USA. She further obtained her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

Career

Adeyeye began her career as a pharmacist in Nigeria. She later moved to the United States, where she worked as a professor of Pharmaceutics, Manufacturing Science and Drug Product Evaluation at the College of Pharmacy, Roosevelt University in Schaumburg, Illinois.

In November 2017, she was appointed as the Director-General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) in Nigeria. In this role, she has been instrumental in implementing stringent measures to ensure the safety and efficacy of drugs in the country.

Contributions to Pharmacology

Adeyeye has made significant contributions to the field of pharmacology. She has conducted extensive research in the areas of drug delivery systems and nanotechnology. Her work has led to the development of innovative drug delivery systems, which have significantly improved the efficacy of drugs.

She has also been involved in the development of regulatory policies for drugs in Nigeria. Her efforts have led to the implementation of stringent measures to ensure the safety and efficacy of drugs in the country.
