Nutty Buddy is a popular American snack food. It is a cone-shaped wafer filled with a chocolate-flavored, nutty cream. The Nutty Buddy was originally created and produced by the Seymour Ice Cream Company but is now made by the Little Debbie brand of the McKee Foods Corporation.
History
The Nutty Buddy was first introduced in 1960 by the Seymour Ice Cream Company, which was later acquired by the McKee Foods Corporation. The name "Nutty Buddy" is believed to have been derived from the snack's nutty flavor and its buddy-like, companionable size.
Description
The Nutty Buddy consists of a cone-shaped wafer that is filled with a chocolate-flavored, nutty cream. The wafer is coated with a layer of chocolate and topped with chopped peanuts. The snack is individually wrapped and sold in boxes of 12.
Ingredients
The main ingredients of a Nutty Buddy are sugar, wheat flour, partially hydrogenated soybean and cottonseed oil, dextrose, cocoa, and contains 2% or less of palm and palm kernel oil, soy lecithin, salt, baking soda, corn starch, and artificial flavors.

A single Nutty Buddy contains approximately 310 calories, 18 grams of fat, 33 grams of carbohydrates, and 3 grams of protein.
