Introduction
Papa Murphy's is a take-and-bake pizza company based in Vancouver, Washington. It began in 1995 as the merger of two local take-and-bake pizza companies: Papa Aldo's Pizza and Murphy's Pizza. The company and its franchisees operate more than 1,300 outlets in the United States and Canada.
History
Papa Murphy's was built on the foundations of two different pizza companies, Papa Aldo's Pizza and Murphy's Pizza. Both companies were operating in different parts of the country and were known for their take-and-bake pizzas. In 1995, Terry Collins merged the two businesses to create Papa Murphy's.
Products
Papa Murphy's is known for its high-quality, fresh products. All pizzas are made with dough that is prepared in-store, cheese that is grated from 40-pound blocks in-store, and vegetables that are chopped in-store. The pizzas are then baked at home by the customers.
