Quezon City is a highly urbanized city located in the National Capital Region of the Philippines. It was founded by and named after Manuel L. Quezon, the second President of the Philippines, who established the city as the country's new capital in 1939. It is the largest city in Metro Manila in terms of land area, covering approximately 166.20 square kilometers.
