Saint Thomas - West Hospital is a healthcare facility located in Nashville, Tennessee. It is part of the Ascension Health system, the largest non-profit health system in the United States and the world's largest Catholic health system.
History
The hospital was founded in 1898 by the Daughters of Charity and was originally known as Saint Thomas Hospital. It was renamed Saint Thomas - West Hospital in 2004 when it became part of the Ascension Health system.

Saint Thomas - West Hospital offers a wide range of medical services, including cardiology, oncology, orthopedics, and neurology. It also has a Level II Trauma Center and a Stroke Center certified by The Joint Commission.
Facilities
The hospital has 541 beds and a medical staff of more than 1,500 physicians. It also has a helipad for air ambulance services.
