The Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG Awards) are accolades given by the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) to recognize outstanding performances in film and television. History
The Screen Actors Guild Awards were first presented in 1995 to honor the best achievements in film and television performances for the year 1994. The awards are considered a significant indicator of success at the Academy Awards.

Statuette
The award statuette, known as "The Actor," is a nude male figure holding both a comedy mask and a tragedy mask. It is made of solid bronze and stands 16 inches tall.
Ceremony
