Snickers (/ˈsnɪkərz/) is a brand name chocolate bar made by the American company Mars, Incorporated. It consists of nougat topped with caramel and peanuts, enrobed in milk chocolate.

Etymology

The name "Snickers" was derived from a horse owned by the Mars family. The horse was named Snickers, and the candy bar was named in its honor.
