Steve Silberman
Steve Silberman is an American writer and journalist known for his work on neurodiversity and autism. He is the author of the book NeuroTribes: The Legacy of Autism and the Future of Neurodiversity, which won the 2015 Samuel Johnson Prize for non-fiction.
Early Life and Education
Silberman was born in Ithaca, New York. He attended Oberlin College in Ohio, where he studied English literature and creative writing. After graduating, he moved to San Francisco, where he began his career in journalism.
