Tc-99m SC - A substance that is being studied to find cancer in the body. It is also used to find sentinel lymph nodes in breast cancer. It contains a radioactive substance called technetium associated with a substance called colloidal sulfur. After the injection, sulfur colloid is absorbed by special cells in the lymphoid tissues as well as in the liver, spleen and bone marrow. A machine or probe that detects radioactivity is used to find out where the Tc-99m SC is located in the body. Also called Tc 99m Sulfur Colloid and Technetium Tc 99m Sulfur Colloid
