Tertiary Sector of the Economy

The tertiary sector of the economy, also known as the service sector or the service industry, encompasses a wide range of activities that are primarily concerned with providing services rather than goods. Unlike the primary sector, which focuses on the extraction of raw materials, and the secondary sector, which deals with manufacturing, the tertiary sector is dedicated to activities that assist the consumption of goods and the fulfillment of services. Characteristics

The tertiary sector is characterized by the production of services instead of end products.
