The Stennis Foundation

The Stennis Foundation (/ˈstɛnɪs faʊnˈdeɪʃən/) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the research and treatment of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. The foundation was established in honor of John C. Stennis, a former U.S. Senator from Mississippi who was diagnosed with ALS.
