Beninese (pronunciation: /bɛnɪˈniːz/) refers to anything related to the country of Benin, including its people, culture, and language.
Etymology
The term "Beninese" is derived from "Benin", the name of the country. The name "Benin" itself comes from the Bight of Benin, a bight in the Atlantic Ocean along the western African coast.
