Calcar

Calcar (/ˈkælkɑːr/), derived from the Latin word calx meaning heel, is a term used in various fields of medicine to refer to a spur or spur-like projection.

Anatomy

  • Calcar avis: A ridge located in the medial part of the occipital lobe of the brain.
