Acinus (/ˈæsɪnəs/; plural, acini; adjective, acinar /ˈæsɪnər/ or acinous) refers to any cluster of cells that resembles a many-lobed "berry", such as the lobules of the mammary gland, the lobules of the liver, or the acini of the salivary glands.
