ESPNews is an American sports news television channel owned by The Walt Disney Company, through its ESPN Inc. joint venture. The channel is primarily dedicated to broadcasting sports news, highlights, press conferences, and commentary.
History
ESPNews was launched on November 1, 1996, as a 24-hour sports news network. The channel was created to provide sports fans with up-to-the-minute news, scores, and highlights. Initially, ESPNews was available only to a limited number of cable subscribers, but it has since expanded its reach to a broader audience through various cable and satellite providers.
Programming
