Born on January 2, 1977, in Iloilo City, Philippines, Sia is best known as the founder of Mang Inasal, a fast-food restaurant chain that specializes in chicken inasal, a popular Filipino dish. His success story is often cited as a model of entrepreneurial spirit and innovation in the face of adversity.

By 2010, Mang Inasal had grown to over 100 outlets nationwide.

In 2010, Sia made headlines when he sold a 70% stake in Mang Inasal to Jollibee Foods Corporation, one of the largest and most successful fast-food chains in the Philippines, for PHP 3 billion (approximately $68 million at the time). This move was seen as a strategic partnership that would help Mang Inasal continue its growth trajectory while benefiting from Jollibee's extensive resources and expertise.

Real Estate and Other Ventures

Following the sale of Mang Inasal, Sia shifted his focus to the real estate sector, founding DoubleDragon Properties Corp. alongside his business partner, Tony Tan Caktiong, who is also the founder of Jollibee Foods Corporation. DoubleDragon aims to become one of the leading property developers in the Philippines, with a focus on developing mixed-use projects that include retail, office, and residential spaces.

Under Sia's leadership, DoubleDragon has embarked on ambitious projects, including the development of CityMall, which aims to be the largest chain of community malls in the Philippines.
