June Kathleen Lloyd, Baroness Lloyd of Highbury (1 January 1928 – 28 June 2006) was a prominent British paediatrician and a life peer in the House of Lords. She was renowned for her contributions to the field of paediatrics, particularly in the areas of metabolic disorders and child health.

June Lloyd was born in London, England. She attended King's College London where she studied medicine, graduating with a degree in 1950. Her early interest in paediatrics led her to pursue further training in this specialty.

Lloyd's medical career began at the Great Ormond Street Hospital, where she developed a keen interest in metabolic disorders in children. Her research in this area was groundbreaking, particularly her work on inborn errors of metabolism.
