Orchard Park is a town in Erie County, New York, United States. It is a suburb of Buffalo, located southeast of the city. The population was 29,686 at the 2020 census.
History
The area that is now Orchard Park was originally settled by the Seneca people, one of the Iroquois tribes. European settlers arrived in the early 19th century, and the town was incorporated in 1921. The town was named "Orchard Park" due to the many orchards that were planted in the area.
