Phenylpiperazines are a broad class of compounds that contain a phenyl group (a functional group made up of six carbon atoms and five hydrogen atoms - C6H5) attached to a piperazine ring. Piperazine is a cyclic organic compound that consists of a six-membered ring containing two nitrogen atoms at opposite positions in the ring.
