Teeling Distillery

Teeling Distillery is an Irish whiskey distillery established in Dublin, Ireland in 2015. It is the first new whiskey distillery to have opened in Dublin, once a hub of world whiskey production, in over 125 years. The distillery was established by the Teeling family, a notable name in the Irish whiskey industry.

History

The Teeling family has been involved in Irish whiskey production since 1782, when Walter Teeling established a small craft distillery in the heart of Dublin. The modern Teeling Distillery, however, was founded by Jack and Stephen Teeling, descendants of Walter Teeling. The Teeling Distillery started operations in 2015, marking a revival of Dublin whiskey production.

Production

Teeling Distillery produces a range of whiskey types, including single malt, single grain, and blended whiskey. The distillery is known for its innovative approach to maturation and cask finishing. Teeling whiskies are often matured in a variety of cask types, including wine, port, rum, and even stout beer barrels.

Visitor Experience
