Bupropion hydrochloride increases levels of the chemicals dopamine, serotonin, and norepinephrine in the brain. This improves mood and can reduce nicotine cravings. It's a type of antidepressant and a type of nicotinic receptor antagonist. Also called Wellbutrin and Zyban
