The magic of the fat head pizza lies in its crust made predominantly of cheese and almond flour. It's both tasty and holds up well to various toppings.

Ingredients[edit]

  • 1 3/4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 cup almond flour
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • Toppings of choice (e.g., keto-friendly tomato sauce, cheese, veggies, meats)

Instructions[edit]

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine mozzarella and cream cheese. Microwave for about 1 minute, stir, then microwave for another 30 seconds or until cheeses are melted and blendable.
  3. Stir in the almond flour, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, and oregano. Mix well until a dough forms.
  4. Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll out into a pizza shape.
  5. Remove the top parchment paper and transfer the crust (with the bottom parchment paper) to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven, add your desired toppings, and then bake for another 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.

Serving[edit]

Cut into slices and enjoy while warm. It pairs wonderfully with a fresh salad or keto-friendly sides.
