Ginger Ribs with Creamy Red Cabbage
Ingredients
- Ribs (1 kg)
- Ginger (2 tablespoons, grated)
- Garlic (2 cloves, minced)
- Soy Sauce (1/4 cup)
- Erythritol (2 tablespoons)
- Red Cabbage (1/2 head, shredded)
- Heavy Cream (1/2 cup)
- Butter (2 tablespoons)
- Salt and Pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, combine the grated ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, and erythritol. Stir until well mixed.
- Rub the mixture onto the ribs, ensuring all sides are covered. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Place the ribs on a baking tray and bake for about 1 hour, or until the ribs are tender and cooked through.
- While the ribs are baking, melt the butter in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the shredded red cabbage to the pan and sauté until it starts to soften.
- Pour in the heavy cream, stirring well to combine. Season with salt and pepper.
- Reduce the heat to low and let the cabbage simmer for about 15 minutes, or until it's tender and the cream has thickened.
- Once the ribs are done, remove them from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve the ribs with the creamy red cabbage on the side.
