Keto Beef Broccoli Stir Fry
Keto Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry is an Asian-inspired dish that showcases tender beef slices stir-fried with fresh broccoli in a savory and slightly spicy sauce. This keto-friendly version omits sugary ingredients typically found in traditional stir-fry sauces.
Ingredients[edit]
- 1 lb beef steak, thinly sliced (e.g., flank or sirloin)
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tbsp soy sauce or tamari
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, freshly grated
- 1 tbsp erythritol or another keto-friendly sweetener
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- Green onions for garnish
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions[edit]
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, erythritol, ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using) to make the sauce. Set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef slices and stir-fry until they are almost cooked through.
- Add the minced garlic to the pan and stir-fry for about a minute until fragrant.
- Add the broccoli florets to the pan and pour the prepared sauce over the beef and broccoli. Stir well to coat all the ingredients in the sauce.
- Continue to cook until the broccoli is tender-crisp, about 3-4 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
