This is a recipe for a delicious and nutritious Keto Pizza Omelet. It's a perfect meal for those following a keto diet.
Ingredients[edit]
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup of tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup of bell peppers, diced
- 1/4 cup of onions, diced
- 1/4 cup of mushrooms, sliced
- 1/4 cup of pepperoni, sliced
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions[edit]
- Heat the olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Add the onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms to the pan and sauté until they are soft.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs and add a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Pour the beaten eggs over the sautéed vegetables in the pan.
- When the omelet starts to cook and get firm, but still has a little raw egg on top, sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the omelet.
- Spread the tomato sauce over the cheese, and then add the sliced pepperoni.
- Cover the pan and cook until the cheese is melted and the omelet is fully cooked.
- Slide the omelet out of the pan onto a plate, cut into slices, and serve.
