Keto Salmon Pie[edit]
This is a delicious and healthy recipe for a Keto Salmon Pie. It's perfect for those following a Keto diet as it's low in carbs and high in healthy fats.
Ingredients[edit]
- 2 cups of Almond flour
- 1/2 cup of Butter
- 1/2 cup of Cream cheese
- 1/2 cup of Heavy cream
- 2 Eggs
- 1 lb of Salmon
- 1/2 cup of Spinach
- 1/2 cup of Mushrooms
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions[edit]
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a bowl, mix the almond flour and melted butter together to form the pie crust. Press this mixture into a pie dish.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until it's lightly browned. Remove it from the oven and let it cool.
- While the crust is cooling, cook the salmon in a pan over medium heat until it's fully cooked. Then, flake the salmon into small pieces.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the cream cheese, heavy cream, and eggs. Add the flaked salmon, spinach, and mushrooms to this mixture. Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour this mixture into the cooled pie crust.
- Bake the pie in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is lightly browned.
- Let the pie cool for a few minutes before serving.
