Sashimi Rolls are a keto-friendly adaptation of traditional sushi rolls. Instead of using rice, these rolls emphasize on raw fish and keto-friendly fillings.
Ingredients[edit]
- Fresh fish slices (like tuna, salmon, or mackerel)
- Nori (seaweed) sheets
- Cucumber, julienned
- Avocado slices
- Wasabi and soy sauce for serving (ensure soy sauce is gluten-free if required)
Preparation[edit]
- 1. Place a nori sheet on a bamboo sushi mat or a flat surface.
- 2. Arrange the fish slices in the center of the nori sheet.
- 3. Place cucumber and avocado slices next to the fish.
- 4. Carefully roll the nori sheet tightly around the fillings.
- 5. Using a sharp knife, slice the roll into bite-sized pieces.
- 6. Serve with wasabi and soy sauce.
