Etymology
The term "Clinical Science" is derived from the Latin word clinicus, meaning "bedside", and the Greek word σκιέντια (scientia), meaning "knowledge". It refers to the application of scientific knowledge to clinical practice.
History
Clinical Science was first published in 1909 by the Biochemical Society, making it one of the oldest journals in its field. It has since been published continuously, with articles being added to the online version as they are accepted.
Scope
The journal covers a wide range of topics within the field of clinical science, including but not limited to cardiovascular disease, diabetes, cancer, neuroscience, immunology, and infectious diseases.
