Hawaiian Punch is a brand of fruit punch beverages owned by Keurig Dr Pepper. The drink was created in 1934 by A.W. Leo, Tom Yates, and Ralph Harrison as a tropical-tasting syrup for ice cream toppings. Over time, it evolved into a popular fruit punch drink.

History

Hawaiian Punch was originally developed in Fullerton, California. The original formula, known as "Leo's Hawaiian Punch," was a mixture of seven fruit flavors: apple, apricot, guava, orange, papaya, passion fruit, and pineapple. The drink gained popularity in the 1950s and 1960s, becoming a staple in American households.
