Low Carb Cauliflower Lasagna
Low Carb Cauliflower Lasagna is a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional lasagna. It's a perfect dish for those following a keto diet as it's low in carbs and high in protein and healthy fats.
Ingredients
- 1 large cauliflower, cut into florets
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 egg
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Steam the cauliflower florets until they are tender, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef with the garlic, salt, and pepper until browned and cooked through. Drain the excess fat.
- In a bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and egg. Mix until well combined.
- In a baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce. Add a layer of the cooked cauliflower, then a layer of the cheese mixture, and finally a layer of the cooked ground beef. Repeat these layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of marinara sauce.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let the lasagna rest for a few minutes before garnishing with fresh basil and serving.
