Istodax - (pronounced) (IH-stoh-dax) A drug used to treat adults with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma who have already been treated with at least one other type of systemic therapy. It is also being studied in the treatment of other types of cancer. Istodax blocks certain enzymes needed for cell division and can kill cancer cells. It's a type of depsipeptide and a type of histone deacetylase inhibitor. Also called FR901228 and romidepsin
