Stivarga - (pronounced) (stih-VAR-guh) drug used to treat certain types of colon cancer, gastrointestinal stromal tumors and hepatocellular carcinoma (a type of liver cancer). It is also being studied in the treatment of other types of cancer. Stivarga blocks certain proteins that can prevent cancer cells from growing. It can also prevent the growth of new blood vessels that tumors need to grow. Stivarga is a type of kinase inhibitor and a type of anti-angiogenesis drug. Also called regorafenib
