fludarabine phosphate - (pronounced) (Flood-DAR-uh-been FOS-fayt) A medicine used to treat adults with B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia who have failed treatment with other anticancer medicines or have deteriorated. It is also being studied in the treatment of other types of cancer. Fludarabine phosphate stops DNA production in cells and can kill cancer cells. It's a type of antimetabolite
